Something Different
In light of the demoralizing political scene, I have decided to focus on more constructive things.
I am starting to read Stephen King's book "The Stand" for the first time in a decade and a half.
I loved this book so much when I was in high school. I am looking forward to reading it again!! I might even track down a copy of the made for TV movie they made for it.
Been a long time since I watched a Molly Ringwald movie!!!

Politics Fatigue
This primary season is weighing on my sanity. I can't believe how Romney is splitting the conservative vote and coasting to victory. This is a time of such peril, and such opportunity, and conservatives are getting taken for a ride by a guy that is willing to say and do anything in order to get elected. The GOP establishment is going along because he won't rock the boat, he WILL play ball, they think it will improve their downticket chances, and they have irrational nightmares of another Goldwater year. It is these types of years that dispirit the base, and set us back another 10 years. What a bunch of failures.
