Perry Rubio 2012!!!!

So there it is.......... As it stands right now, it looks like that is going to be the next ticket to win the Presidency of the United States of America.  My prayers go out to both men.

Perry is pulling into First!

The Iowa Straw Poll is barely over and we still have several months before the primary season really kicks off, but it looks like Rick Perry is already taking a commanding lead in the race for the Republican nomination.  He has already firmly overtaken Michele Bachmann, and in several polls he has overtaken the frontrunner Mitt Romney.  Just to stipulate, the primaries havent even begun yet and there is a lot of time between now and then.  Anything could happen.  Thats why we have a primary season; to weed out and vet a candidate before a national audience.  This is how we see if that candidate can stand up to that level of scrutiny and attention.  But at this point, it really looks like things are running in Rick's direction.   I wouldn't be suprised next year at this time to see a ticket of Rick Perry and Marco Rubio soundly kicking Obama's butt.

Obama's Vacation

I love how upset everyone is getting that Obama is taking a vacation when the economy is falling apart.  It makes me wonder whether these people know that it is exactly his policies that are driving the economy off the cliff.  If it was possible I would have him stay on vacation nonstop and only come back for the transfer of power after the election.  So live it up, Barry!!!

Beautiful Night

I just want to take a second, and talk about what a beautiful night it is. Its about 70 degrees and cool and breezy.  There are a few clouds in the sky that look like giant floating cottonballs.  It is late enough that all the bugs are gone.  And for some reason- maybe because it is a monday, all my neighborhood is quiet.  These are the kinds of nights to enjoy and cherish.  I know I will be looking back on this in a few months when it gets cold and the snow arrives.  Well good night everyone!!!
